Rock Hall highlight set to iTunes

Time Life will release "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Live," a 200-track digital collection of performances from the hall's induction ceremonies, as an iTunes exclusive on Nov. 15. A three-CD package will be released to retail Nov. 1. The iTunes collection, to be issued in 10 "volumes," will cull highlights from Rock Hall inductions, dating from the inaugural concert in 1986 through 2009. Highlights include a version of "I Saw Her Standing There" by the Beatles' George Harrison and Ringo Starr, with assists from Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger and others; Springsteen and Bono's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"; an all-star rendition of "Let It Be" led by Paul McCartney; and a George Harrison salute, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," with Prince and Traveling Wilburys cohorts Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. Retail package will include perfs by Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Aerosmith, Chuck Berry, the Who, James Brown, Cream and John Fogerty. Contact the Variety newsroom at news@variety.com
